Good morning SE Familia!
We want to start first off by saying thank you for your continued support and prayers. As you know, we have been going through a lot in 2022, but we know God is doing big things through each difficulty. We have officially moved to La Union and are excited for what God has planned for us there. It is a very big change from what we had thought our future and the future of SE would look like, but we are expectant that God is going to do big things and trust that he is working through everything for good.
We have a lot of visions and ideas of what we can do in La Union, please pray for us as we discern what God is making available for us to do and for us to do it well. Far too often we have seen missionaries/groups come and go, yet their work truly does not impact the long term and has a tendency to create a dependency, rather than truly helping those they serve. We are praying that whatever we do, we do with excellence, honoring those we serve, and creates a long term impact.
In last month’s email, we mentioned that we were opening up the Bright Future Scholarships for the spring. Well, we have selected our winners! Please check out the winners and some photos of them below! We are so excited for what God is going to do in and through these young women.
We plan on opening the Bright Future Scholarship again this fall to give an opportunity for students who are planning on taking entrance exams in the late fall or winter seasons.

God to open up opportunities for SE in La Union and for us to have the eyes and faith to step into them.
God to continue to heal our family from the many hurts and pains we have experienced so far in 2022.
I (Austin) am traveling back to the USA to renew my passport and take care of documents I need to have in Honduras.
After this month, I (Austin) will no longer be working at ALCS, the school I have worked at for three years, and have been looking for online jobs. Pray for discernment and for God to provide opportunities for me to make up my loss of income.
I look forward to an opportunity to see you all, if I am able to. I will be visiting the Iowa in late July through August. If you are able to connect with me, I would absolutely love it!
